China Foreign Exchange Trade System (CFETS) published that CFETS RMB Index on 30 January 2026 closed at 96.99, losing 1.02% from the end of last month.

In order to facilitate the market to observe the change of RMB effective exchange rate from different perspectives, CFETS also published RMB indices based on BIS currency basket and SDR currency basket respectively. On 30 January 2026, the above two indices closed at 104.06 and 92.52 respectively, losing 0.58% and 0.20% from the end of last month.
