China Foreign Exchange Trade System (CFETS) published that CFETS RMB Index on 31 December 2025 closed at 97.99, gaining 0.07% from the end of last month.

In order to facilitate the market to observe the change of RMB effective exchange rate from different perspectives, CFETS also published RMB indices based on BIS currency basket and SDR currency basket respectively. On 31 December 2025, the above two indices closed at 104.67 and 92.71 respectively, gaining 0.19% and 0.27% from the end of last month.
