China Foreign Exchange Trade System (CFETS) published that CFETS RMB Index on 27 January 2025 closed at 100.70, losing 0.76% from the end of last month.

In order to facilitate the market to observe the change of RMB effective exchange rate from different perspectives, CFETS also published RMB indices based on BIS currency basket and SDR currency basket respectively. On 27 January 2025, the above two indices closed at 106.79 and 94.74 respectively, losing 0.40% and gaining 0.21% from the end of last month respectively.
