China Foreign Exchange Trade System (CFETS) published that CFETS RMB Index on 31 August 2017 closed at 94.38, gaining 1.76% from the end of last month.

In order to facilitate the market to observe the change of RMB effective exchange rate from different perspectives, CFETS also published RMB indices based on BIS currency basket and SDR currency basket respectively. On 31 August 2017, the above two indices closed at 95.12 and 95.29 respectively, gaining 1.61% and gaining 1.64% from the end of last month.
