Open market operation

In April, the People's Bank of China issued five central bank papers with a maximum of 75 billion yuan, down 205 billion yuan from the previous month. As three bonds fell through, the real issuing volume was61.15 billion yuan.

Bond issuing

In April, the Ministry of Finance issued two book-entry bonds with a value of 57.25 billion yuan. The China Development Bank issued three bonds with a value of 35 billion.

Bond listing

In April, listed on the national interbank bond market were five central bank papers, two treasury bonds and two bonds issued by the China Development Bank, with a total value of 138.4 billion yuan.

Market members

By the end of April, members of the national interbank funding market and bond market totaled 954, among which 828 were connected to the interbank lending and bond trading system. The national interbank FX market had a total of 349 members. The members of www.chinacp.com.cn amounted to 957.
