    Internal structure

    1) Headquarter

     

    CFETS has one Secretary of the Party Committee, one Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission one President and several Vice Presidents. The headquarter has twelve departments (General Office, FX Market Department, RMB Market Department, Money Brokering Department, Clearing Department, Engineering Department, Technology Development Department, Research Department, Information Statistics Department, Risk Management Dept, Finance Department and Administrative Department) Shanghai Zhengyuan Business Services Center and CHINAMONEY Journal.

     

    General Office: In charge of summarization and co-ordination of general business, secretarial work, foreign affairs, publicity and education, personnel affairs, wage and salary, and training.

     

    FX Market Dept: In charge of FX market trading and member management, and organizing the development of new FX market businesses.

     

    RMB Market Dept: In charge of market trading and member management of the RMB market, and organizing the development of new RMB market businesses.

     

    Money broking Department: Providing FX deposit and RMB voice brokering service.

     

    Clearing Dept: Responsible for the clearing of FX trading, and the management and surveillance of member's local and foreign currency clearing.

     

    Engineering Dept: Responsible for the management of the computerized trading system, communication network, information safety and electronic equipment, and the coordination and guidance of technological affairs for sub-centers.

     

    Technology Development Dept: Responsible for software development, maintenance, technical support and training of businesses application systems.

     

    Research Dept: Responsible for market statistics, investigation and analysis, and new product research.

     

    Information Statistics Dept: In charge of providing information and statistics services on the RMB and FX market, conducting R&D and market promotion of information system and information products.

     

    Risk Management Dept: Responsible for setting down CFETS' overall planning of risk management, implementing the detailed plans of risk alerting, monitoring, prevention and dissolution, organizing the internal auditing within CFETS.

     

    Finance Dept: Responsible for the financial management of CFETS and the test key management of the clearing funds involved in FX trading.

     

    Administrative Dept: In charge of the logistics of CFETS and the management of the office building.

     

    CHINAMONEY: In charge of the editing, publishing and issuing of CHINAMONEY Journal, publishing internal theory research and references, and providing relevant consultancy on financial market.

     

    Shanghai Zhengyuan Business Services Center: In charge of the logistics of CFETS, organizing dealer training, and undertaking conference affairs.

     

    2) Back-up Center

     

    The Back-up Center in Beijing is an integral part of CFETS. With the same network and equipment as the head office, it operates as the back-up for the trading and clearing systems of the FX, RMB lending and bond. It also organizes members in the Beijing area to trade in the network, and provides technical services for on-site and remote trading, and other business needs.

     

    The Beijing Back-up Center has one director, which is concurrently held by a vice president of CFETS, and one vice director. Under the back-up center there are four departments: General Office, Market Department, Clearing Department and Engineering Department.
